Urban Sketcher: Nonie Castillo

Portrait of Me

Nonie Castillo

Nonie Castillo is a graphic artist, illustrator, avid photographer and urban sketcher. He can be reached at kastilyo@gmail.com.

What do you do?

I worked as a graphic artist for Johnson & Johnson for 10 years. In 2001, I started my own company, After Hours Grafics. I am also mostly into street photography.

What tools do you use in your work?

I have been using Macs since 2001, starting with the Mac SE. Now, I use a 13” Mac Book Pro / Apple Cinema Display / iMac with a Wacom Tablet.

What software do these tools run on?

I have been using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for my projects. I also use Adobe Lightroom and Apple Aperture in processing my photos.

How has YNZAL helped you acquire these tools? Please describe your experience in doing business with Ynzal.

I have been working with Ynzal since they started their business. Working with Ynzal is a smooth experience. They are very professional but at the same time they treat their clients as if they are family. Ynzal has helped a lot regarding tech-support and hardware problems.

What is your dream set-up? Tools on your wishlist?

I don’t really have a dream set-up but a Wacom Cintiq and a Mac Book Air (for mobility) are some of the tools on my wish list.
